CONFERENCE COOPERATION

The International Emergency Management Society (TIEMS) and Critical Infrastructure & Resilience Europe (CIPRE) have agreed to cooperate in 2025, as part of CIP Week in Europe, with arranging our conferences in parallel in Brindisi, with a joint opening session and a joint summary session.

Participants at the respective conferences will therefore be able to listen to any session in TIEMS hybrid Annual Conference and in CIPRE Europe Conference, without any extra charge.

We will also have joint coffee breaks and lunches and networking reception.

TIEMS CONFERENCE THEMES

The International Emergency Management Society (TIEMS) invites you to be part of its 2025 Hybrid Annual Conference, a dynamic platform for innovation, dialogue, and action in global crisis and disaster management.

Recent global events—from climate disasters to pandemics and cyber threats—highlight the need for smarter, more connected, and more resilient crisis response systems. This year's conference theme zeroes in on three key pillars:

Interoperability & Coordination

How can we break organizational silos and harmonize cross-border responses? Share operational tools, case studies, and models that enhance coordination and speed.

AI & Emerging Technologies

What role can AI, predictive analytics, and digital tools play in emergencies? We welcome use cases and critical discussions on ethics, equity, and governance in tech adoption.

Collaborative Resource Management

How can we better share what we have—people, money, logistics—to do more, together? From pooled supply chains to strategic funding models, let’s explore what works.

Additional Topics of Interest (but not limited to)

Climate Adaptation & Disaster Risk Reduction

Pandemic Preparedness & Health System Resilience

Cybersecurity & Managing Misinformation

Community-led Resilience and Localization

Policy Harmonization & International Governance

Ethics in Humanitarian Tech and Aid

Innovative Funding Mechanisms and Logistics
